The Farmland Preservation Research Project

The Farmland Preservation Research Project is an interdisciplinary project of the University of Guelph's Centre for Land and Water Stewardship in the Department of Land Resource Science and the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development. The project aims to explore the pressures and opportunities related to the use of farmland in Ontario. The Ontario Farmland Trust is working closely with the Farmland Preservation Research Project to pursue research on the issues and potential solutions surrounding farmland loss.
